Vintage Fabric from the 1940’s
This order of vintage fabric arrived from England a few weeks ago and I couldn’t resist taking a photo while unpacking.
These lovely cloths were woven in England in the 1940’s.
At the top of the pile is a floral cotton seersucker. Below it is a narrow loom viscose with a floral fan design and underneath that is a sheer cotton voile which was used to make a high tea couture dress with beaded smocking. It’s a very romantic dress indeed!
